COME SKATING WITH US! The cost is only $5 per 30-minute session, including skate rental. This is a synthetic surface rink that skates just like ice -- but isn't as cold! Tickets are available for purchase on site and are CASH ONLY. View our rink calendar for open dates and times, or see below for the schedule and other details -- be sure to check out our new themed skate events!

All skaters are required to sign a liability waiver before they are allowed on the ice. NO EXCEPTIONS. Skaters younger than 18 years of age are required to have a parent or legal guardian sign and submit a waiver on their behalf. Local scout troop members are managing operations at the rink. The skating rink will be closed during inclement weather.

ADD YOUR WISH to the Historic Village “Wish Tree.” The 2025 Wish Tree is located in the center of the Historic Village. Free wish tree ornaments for adding your wish are available during skating sessions. Or, you can make and add your own ornament to hang on the Wish Tree. Add this to your family’s holiday tradition and enjoy reading and viewing our community’s wishes.

VISIT THE "CHRISTMAS CABIN", open during skating sessions as part of the holiday decorated Historic Village. The restored Weaning Cabin on the Museum campus is transformed into a beautiful Christmas Cabin with period-correct decorations.

SNAP YOUR HOLIDAY PHOTOS with family and friends at the Christmas Cabin or next to our vintage 1940s Chevrolet pickup truck. A great way to get those Christmas cards lined up!

TAKE IN THE "SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS" DECORATED TREES located around the Museum, at Founders Park and at Harmon Park by the gazebo.
