Volunteer Opportunities
The Kernersville Museum offers several different volunteer opportunities to suit your area of interest and talents. Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community while also giving yourself a chance to learn more about Kernersville history! Volunteer hours at the Kernersville Museum can also count towards required volunteer time for local students. Below are some of the volunteer opportunities available.
Administrative Support
We are always looking for folks who can scan articles for use in our digital archives, help with bulk mailings, make copies, file, etc
Planning/Organizing
We have several committees where you could put your planning and organizing skills to use! Exhibits, Collections, Oral Histories, Marketing & Resource Development are always looking for volunteers.
Facilities/Groundskeeping
Help maintain our flower beds, general facilities and grounds.
Research
Do you like researching information? We could use your help looking up information and organizing what we find for our collection.
